Greats in the world - in sport, Christiano Ronaldo; in business, Aliko Dangote; in finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; in music, John Legend, what a legend indeed! (He is a G.O.A.T); in tech, Elon Musk; and the list goes on. All these people are known today because of the work they’ve have put in their field. They did not just become good (or gods!) at what they do. They learnt, they keep learning and practicing their skills everyday and this is why they can be regarded as greats – best of the best. This is the ultimate goal I have set for myself – to become a best of the best in the field of design.

Hello, I’m Bamifemi, a visual designer open to work opportunities. A few days ago, I joined a program called 2021 KodeCamp Internship - an online workspace designed to empower individuals with the passion to grow and develop themselves in different IT skills. The program caters for several tracks such as Mobile Development, Front End Development, Back End Development, UI/UX Design, Digital Marketing and the likes. This program is set to run for 16 weeks.

I would like to share what I want to get out of this program;

For some years now I have been deep in the concept of design. I am originally a graphics designer and in the past year, I have learnt a bit about UI/UX design with help of a number of people and program. However, I am not very satisfied with what I know so far. Learning is lifelong, right? I joined #KodeCamp because I believe the skills I will gain there will empower me more in the in the design field.

I have planned to be self-disciplined enough to carry out every task or project that will be attached to me during this program and at the end of the program I am very certain I will come out as a better individual, a better team player, a better entrepreneur, a much better tech-person and most especially a best of the best designer. So help me God.
