My Journey to Light

My Journey to Light

The light is more appealing, the light is easier to fall for. Give me your hand and let's be Millionaires!

9 years ago I wrote the following post: In 2022 I will be a millionaire. People's concept of wealth needs to be enriched. I remember the first time that idea crossed my mind, being wealthy without counting a single penny!

I suppose you guessed my point; it was for people to feel rich in love, being surrounded by good ones who are willing to support you with all the needed love to go on in life.

I became a Millionaire with people's love!

I translate my vision for the future that Jordanian youth and I seek into a reality for our community. Thus, I break the stalemate to move forward instead of settling for the status quo. It's time to say that :

“We don't need more social businesses; we need more social change!"

I have dedicated myself — As a Jordanian devoted to the homeland, who has worked diligently in various positions in local and global organizations and devotedly shouldered the responsibility, out of a belief that Jordan’s interest is my one purpose and compass. I believe in this homeland — in service of our beloved Jordan and its great people.

?Today, with Jordan on the threshold of a new phase of progress and modernization We take our first step into the state’s second centennial, and we want our national history to record that it started with a dedicated, earnest national effort towards further development and progress.

Recently, I was named by the Hult prize foundation, United Nations, Education First, and Clinton Global Initiative as, “The BEST IN CLASS Campus Director in the world!” For my work in empowering and inspiring youth. I? am not only succeeded in mobilizing thousands of students to build bold businesses for a better world but provided them 1-1 personalized mentorship, got the highest number of training and workshops in the world, and engaged Royal families, Ministries, CEOs, and award-winning judges to support my community as I made the Global events look small next to my events and conferences! I am committed to building a bright future for Jordan’s youth by inspiring and driving their engagement to improve community wellbeing, as well as leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and socioeconomic opportunities.

?The impact of my work extends throughout the Kingdom’s governorates, Jordanian Universities as well as Sudanese and Palestinians mainly, and youth all around the world. This affirms my belief that youth can excel if given the proper skills and means to become active citizens within their communities. Basically, I had been working directly with my university students. These youth don’t have the know-how, access, money, or connections to even get a licence to get started. That entrepreneurial dream that many of us take for granted simply isn’t present.? Hence I began with inspiration. These young people knew what the problems were, but I helped unlock the realisation that they didn’t have to be dependent on the chronically-failing institutions around them but can be part of the solution. Then I showed them how. And then, if they were the best team with the best idea, I gave them the network to implement their great idea. I made this effort for my university students Because I believe it gives you the most bang for your buck. Students have a unique four-year grace period to do something. And it’s during those formative college years you can get people to subscribe to the belief that business can be a force for good, and that the solutions to our environmental and social issues stem from business ideas.

?

During my university years, I made the impossible possible through empowering youth by creating and building a platform for budding young social entrepreneurs, into a global grassroots game-changer. So I think it’s critical for anyone in development to understand that most young people, including myself, have grown up in a third world characterised by war, famine, and social and economic crises. Their attitude to the system — including universities, government, the private sector — is pretty consistent. Namely, that it will fail them. Working hard, getting good grades, not getting into trouble… These things don’t yield a life of economic security anymore. And in emerging markets around the world generations of talented young graduates are sitting on the sidelines.? As a result, young people are very sceptical; but that promotes entrepreneurship and I believe it's what’s driving the sharing economy, which is all about young people doing business directly with one another. Because if you bypass the intermediaries, the institutions, you sometimes bypass the corruption and the inefficiencies and can create the future for yourself that the institutions have failed to provide.

?

I have a very fulfilling feeling about what I have been able to accomplish in my life so far. I want the absolute best for myself and those close to me. I often go above and beyond to help those around me succeed and be the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.

?My life is a mixture of moments, some happy moments and others not so much, but regardless, these moments have made me the person that I am today and I don’t regret anything that had happen. I consider myself a strong, and very determined person, I have dreams to fill the world and I am willing to do the necessary efforts to attain those dreams. My motivations I inherit from my family, specifically my father and mother whom I love so much; they are vital figures of leadership in my life, adapting their leadership style, empowered me to be the leader I am now. My parents taught me that we live in a world that is constantly changing and to succeed we need a smart plan and the ability to adapt and adjust to the changing world environment but more importantly one needs to prepare one’s self to succeed. We need discipline and above all an unshakable will to resist difficulties when they happen. “An ongoing work of art” would probably be one of the best ways to describe my life. From very early on in life, I have learned that I can be the artist of my own life through guidance and hard work. I learned that we are the architects of our life, the artist of our own destiny through work, commitment, and determination. Every route taken or not taken will somehow impact our existence and leave a trail like a shooting star in the night sky. The beauty of the trail depends entirely on the nature of our actions in life.

?These days in our societies, it's like we are living in hell and dreaming of heaven. First and foremost, I worked and worked and worked, to make an impact then in a phase of my life I locked myself up in a small room inside this Hell, I'm still burning just like everybody else. But being an introvert eases the pain softens the noise and blurs the ugliness of the world. I started to think "what do I want? "what should I do to change the world ?" started with the little things That affect societies. Reactionary points no one was talking about. and I did. I made awareness and empower women and youth, Hell heard of me. I have managed to eliminate these reactionary phenomena almost entirely Hell was scared of me, And it sent me those who are closest to mine. "Marah what are you doing?" What in the world are you rambling on? "Do you think you are an impactful leader? quit this idiocy! Come with us, let's stay out, come on, let's have fun, let's go out!" I used to refuse to move out of that small prison. which I willingly locked myself up in -You guys go out to have fun and leave me, leave me to chase my dream. Hell was now even more scared. People started talking about me, and sick people started attacking me. Sometimes it got to me; sometimes I got tired and at times I sunk into despair. And lots of times I would suffer alone with my dream inside that room. My dignity and my pride used to stand up to me every time I gave up. you have your ideas and your amazing tribe that they rely on you. And that sort of thinking made me more than just an Impactful leader. Those became my backbone and the army that I fight with. Hell stopped being scared and the flames started to go out. And instead of living in it. I put it out and lit it within me, the fire now lives in me Within me there's a society that I control its principles, secrets, and beliefs A society with no cursing, Blasphemy war killing, sectarianism A society that dreams of success, humanity and believes that darkness does not eliminate darkness. Only light can eliminate darkness. I have acknowledged my errors and; admitted my mistakes and there's a big difference. Many acknowledge their mistakes and continue in doing them without admitting them.

?Success after success after success after many insults after many internal wars and Marah Mazahreh has become the Leader. The leader is everyone of you, every guy and every girl, everyone living in a hell that he or she is too scared to get out of and challenge. That hell is society. Those flames are the restrictions that keep you from succeeding and reaching your goal You're going to say "I don't have the support" and I don't have the backup You're going to say “I’m a loser" Why? Because people said so you were. You are going to say: “I’m a liar-deceiver- a nobody- weak. Because people said you were all those things. But to succeed you will have to let the fire burn you to realize your dream you will have to let it feed on your flesh. Get up and think about who you want to become, it's not them who decides who you will be. Think about when you die, how do you want people to remember you? Think of your mom, your dad, your brothers, and the people you love, think about your childhood, your wounds, and think about how many people broke you. think that you will not be a piece of wood in that fire. And rise up! Stand up to the demons of despair inside you. stand up. Work hard. Get broken, fix yourself and mend your wounds, and become who you want to become your dream is what most deserves your concentration. Don't say that this or that was born with a golden spoon in his mouth, with a wooden spoon you can make your life turn into gold. Don't try to open doors that are not yours, life is too short to be trying to open doors that weren't meant to be open for you. There is not a door for you out there. You make that door you design, you build it on your own and only you have its key. Life is full of battles. You will lose some and you win some but keep going! What's on the way is not important, what's important is where you will be getting it. And when exhaustion leaves you at a crossroad with two roads ahead, your mind, your heart, go with your heart Because the heart is capable of feeling. thinking. Forgiving and getting stronger. But the mind lots of times think selfishly and of collapsing. Follow your heart in every aspect of your life,? not only when it comes to your dream but also in love, work, friendship, school, and everything. Because only when you love What you’re doing with all your heart only then will you be able to succeed and excel in it. Lots of times I would stand in front of the mirror, beat myself up, punish myself and fight myself.

That's right, I've been in the darkness because I was pushed to it by those who were the closest to me!

Until I met myself which I called "My Dearest Friend" then I could understand that my flaws, those that were criticised harshly, are the source of my strength and those heinous imperfections are the main components of the world's implacable harmony.

To you my dearest friend I have the credit for. I have found my true light within the deep black among me. My battle with the darkness isn't over yet!

Some people are going to put me down, some are going to tell me that I'm not good enough! I'm too weak to even stand for myself!

I feel surrounded by the halo of anapeace, where I feel stronger than before. My light is going to scatter once in a while, but I'm not worried! I recollect it and move. The beautiful soul will shine as a shooting star.

Look for those who took steps way before you, those who pray the road for you to go on. Those who are more than just spirits have been long gone yet never forgotten. And when you find your true soul, don't forget to help the ones who are still small

Just like I did, I? went from Zero to 6 Zeros .. put them in 1, and made a million.
