In my life, it involved setting unrealistically high standards for oneself. This can often lead to what is known as “The Perfection Trap,” where the pursuit of perfection becomes a hindrance rather than a motivator. It is important to understand how perfectionism manifests in different areas of life, including professional and personal goals. Reflecting on why falling into “The Perfection Trap” can be detrimental is crucial for personal growth and well-being. By recognizing these patterns, we can work towards a healthier approach to our goals and aspirations. I understood the patterns and then, started my journey steadily towards transition.
