My Journey: From Management Consultant to Top Udemy Educator

I've always considered myself an eternal student, diving deep into learning rather than teaching. The very thought of public speaking sent shivers down my spine. I preferred the comfort of doing, not speaking. But life has a funny way of surprising us, and my journey is a testament to that.

The world of education has been evolving, and the shift towards online learning opened doors I never knew existed. My passion for understanding complex subjects, combined with my filmmaking skills, became more than just a hobby. It evolved into a mission.

Initially, producing online courses was a means for self-development, a way to better understand critical global issues such as digitalisation and AI, climate change, energy transition, decarbonisation and sustainability.? Surprisingly, these courses resonated with many. As of now, I’ve had almost 5000 enrolments to my courses with many students taking more than one of my courses. Each piece of student feedback made me realise the impact of my work: I was sharing important knowledge in a structured, digestible and engaging format, and my work was appreciated.

Yesterday, a significant milestone marked my unexpected journey. Udemy , where I host my courses, recognised my efforts. They included me in their exclusive Udemy Partner programme. Imagine this: out of over 73,000 instructors on the platform, only 300 are chosen for this honour. Being part of that top half percent is not just an achievement; it's a responsibility and a privilege.

?I am still to discover what it all means for my career, but I am looking forward to new opportunities.
