My Journey in the Electric Vehicle Startup World ???

After finishing my graduation, while most of my friends went into IT and some went to abroad for further studies, I decided to pursue my passion for core subjects. That's how I ended up joining an Electric Vehicle (EV) startup, which marked a big change in my life.

I want to briefly recap my past experience working in the EV startup.

There were a lot of shocks and surprises for me in the first few days, like no properly defined roles and responsibilities, things not going as planned, not having proper resources, all the work being managed with MS Office and everything being done manually. Even small tasks needed approval from senior management. Despite the chaos, each day brought new challenges that pushed me to test my skills.

What I loved most about the company was the freedom to shape strategies and approaches, and I got to see how top management handled business strategies and learn from experienced entrepreneurs. The coolest part is the open culture and transparency between the senior management and the other employees. My boss and I are more like friends than a typical senior-junior relationship. ??

One of the best part of working late was brainstorming ideas with my manager and tackling challenges together. Even if the tasks weren't in my job description, each one helped me grow personally. ??

What I value most about working in a startup is seeing the impact of my efforts on the company. Unlike in big companies where you might feel like just a small part of a big machine, here, every contribution matters. Seeing my ideas actually make a difference motivates me to keep pushing. ????

Working at a startup has been a wild ride of ups and downs. It's not perfect, but the learning experiences and sense of fulfillment make it all worth it.
