My ITIL Service Strategy Story - ITIL Intd LC-SS

I’m glad to announce that I got my ITIL SS certification this week !!

Took about 45 days to learn, along with several years of experience in ITIL Framework , Managed Services Business and Service Strategy Functions , was able to get certified !!

Here's how I went about it -

1. Enrolled in SimpliLearn (https://www.simplilearn.com/ ) , they provide video content for ~12 Hours, Ebook and couple of sample test papers.
2. If you are not a video person and prefer reading - https://www.kornev-online.net/ITIL/01%20-%20ITIL%20V3%202011%20Service%20Strategy%20SS.pdf - this link has exactly the same content as Simplilearn Video.
3. Once completed the videos , received a simplilearn completion certificate.

8 Scenario Based Questions

On the basis of the information provided in the scenario, you will be required to select which of the four answer options provided (A, B, C or D) you believe to be the optimum answer.

You must choose ONE answer only, and the Gradient Scoring system works as follows:

? If you select the CORRECT answer, you will be awarded 5 marks for the question

? If you select the SECOND BEST answer, you will be awarded 3 marks for the question

? If you select the THIRD BEST answer, you will be awarded 1 mark for the question

? If you select the DISTRACTER (the incorrect answer), you will receive no marks for the

question.

In order to pass this examination, you must achieve a total of 28 marks or more out of a maximum of 40 marks (70%)

Once you are done with Initial Studying , focus on these 3 Key Areas during revision process -

Point to note - Scenario questions can come from any topic within this course , so while getting trained , focus on key concepts and how it relates to real time work scenarios , it will help ease the learning process and will help pass the exam as well.
