My Greatest Lesson For 2023

This year has been incredible and at times I have to pinch myself with what I have learned. I hope that is your experience from the year too ????!

My greatest insight for 2023 is a reminder of four lessons I have learned over many years, but it is the combination of these lessons and the power they generate together that have proven to be the most valuable for this year.

My lesson is summarised with these four words:

• Decide
• Commit
• Research
• Act

On 1st June 2023 I publicly announced my DECISION to write Yes For Success: How to Achieve Life Harmony and Fulfillment.

I COMMITTED to having the book published by November 2023.

While I have previously self-published two books, I had to do my RESEARCH to figure out the best strategies, techniques, and tactics for publishing this book. I wanted to ensure I did SMART, HARD WORK and not DUMB, HARD WORK (I explain this concept in my previous book, Disruption Leadership Matters: Lessons for Leaders from the Pandemic.).

From the second I decided to write the book, I had to ACT and do the work.

The Kindle version was published on 9th October 2023. The paperback and hardback versions were published on 19th November 2023.?

I am booked to record the AudioBook version in January 2024, and it will be available around Easter 2024.

I did all of the above while recovering from major surgery, regaining my fitness, being a present husband and father of five children, studying a new intensive coaching program and serving my ever-growing list of clients.?

I really put my beliefs to the test with this book and I practised everything within its pages to make it a reality. My beliefs passed with flying colours!

As you celebrate the end of another year and prepare for a new one, I encourage you to use this lesson for yourself.?

Decide > Commit > Research > Act.

This will help make 2024 an extraordinary year for you! As you know, you deserve an extraordinary year and I believe you can create it??.

By The Way - I'm not listening to all the negativity about 2024 because the future is unknowable, yet it can be created. So, why not create the future you want, rather than letting negativity stop you from making decisions that will help you and the people you serve!
