My Four Things For All Humans!
Gossiping about other people's problems and doing nothing to help them identify their real problem is not a leadership trait or quality. Admittedly, it's damn hard to be a much better leader and also find compromise. Sometimes winning the human race is simply deciding to put others first.
- We can start with some respect for others and the understanding that each one of us is indeed unique and valuable in many different ways.
- Understanding of differences and the unique attitudes that come with it.
- Accountability of not only my own behavior, but for others who might' even be influenced by my wrongful actions.
- Compassion for all humans, especially for what they've endured and yet to encounter because everyone has a triumphant life story to tell. Therefore, establish some trustworthiness, so that you might get to hear their side of their real stories rather than your own made up versions.
Lastly, we can easily look into the mirror, but it cannot look back at us. Therefore, we must also be encouraged to make some real attempts to look at others, to then see our own real human reflections of ourselves through them. Learning to take the difficulty from such innately offensive or repulsive things with much more forgiveness, kindness, love and a little more compassion in our hearts can lead to peace. People do so many things for so many different reasons and without their own understanding of it. Having more meaningful conversations can put us on the right track away from these horrid things to better human understandings and less conflicts. It's really listening that can bring out the best in all of us.
