My first web-based Conversation Series “Sustainability in the Next Era”

The COVD-19 lockdown was an exceptional experience… a tough one but full of learnings and discovery.

Zooming with my friend Sartaj Anand one of those days, we thought why not collaborate. His media and communication experience and my sustainability mission joined in a genuine manner to produce this series.

Reaching out to the guests whom I’ve known for years but probably have not touched base with in a long time taught me a lot about how humans with common passion stand for each other.

The recording was done during the full and/or partial lockdown between Amman and Aqaba. I had to do one episode in a friend’s office when my home internet got disconnected.

I’ve prepared for each conversation so thoroughly and managed to keep my expectations on this ‘new’ side of me humble.

We released one episode at a time on a weekly basis and watched the reactions.

Today, Egomonk and myself are proud that this series proved that a few people with strong will and common mission can do it. And that MENA region and its great people are keen to get engaged in sustainability discussions.
