My First Shoot

In my short time at Flare Sales, I have never experienced being part of a team that is so passionate and enthusiastic about the job they do and the care they have for one another. As someone who values enthusiasm, it's great to see others in your team have it too. This was the first time I actually met my team because, of course, due to restrictions we couldn't. I was nervous the night before. I did not want to be late or go to the wrong place. Now I laugh at those thoughts because saying them aloud made those thoughts feel stupid. It taught me we all stress at times but remember we have to focus, get rid of the bad thoughts and focus on the good. Try to manifest good events happening.

So the day started with us working with our new client of Baskin and Robbins, which was amazing as we got to take some great photos of their delicious treats and even try some ourselves. It was amazing. When I think about the great days I have had working, it will certainly be up there. It was interesting for me, as for someone who always gets the finished product of the post-it was good seeing what goes behind it. I loved it and honestly was just amazing to be a part of. Then we went to our second shoot at the Rockies, a takeaway offering a vast amount of food. However, I will always remember the journey rather than the destination.

So on the way to the second shoot, we were in the car. Then all of a sudden, the back wheel began to start smoking up. It was crazy. Luckily, Aaron spotted it, and the driver pulled over. It was just insane. We had to pull up on a very busy motorway in Manchester. Lucky, no one was hurt or injured, so it was all good. But all I remember was sitting with my team and thinking how is this happening. But what I took away from it and what helped me was how well my team responded. We took it in stride and moved forward with how it was going so it was ironically more of a pleasant experience rather than a negative one. It was a really good day for me and I honestly can't wait for more.
