MY FIRST MESSAGE as co-chair of the International Business Committee of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to committee members.

 Holiday Greetings to all.

I wish to introduce myself. My name is Jorge Canavati. I have the privilege of co-chairing the International Committee for our chamber in 2018 with Louis Escare?o . To say the least, our chamber has accomplished some extraordinary things in the international arena recently. I am very proud of our chamber for these accomplishments. In 2018, we will take this to the next level through an unconventional platform and “out of the box” concepts. Our committee will establish itself as a leader in our ever-evolving world. Our community and city deserve no less. We cannot depend on or wait for the outcome of trade agreement negotiations. The world is big, and opportunities are around every corner. Our job is to discover and embrace these. The ever-transforming globalized village won’t wait for San Antonio and at the same time, we are in a wonderful position to be in a leadership role unto the world. The stars are aligned. It is ludicrous to think this can be done in a year or two. However, our committee can at the very least design the blueprint and set the stage for the success of San Antonio generations to come. I am always at your service.
