In 2007, I embarked on what would become a transformative odyssey, sparked by a real estate seminar I attended with my sister in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Little did I know, this would mark the beginning of a journey filled with trials, growth, and eventual triumph.

Armed with nothing but a capital card and a burning desire to learn, I invested $7,000 in knowledge—five books, detailed manuals, and a month of coaching. It was my first step into the unknown.

The road ahead was shrouded in uncertainty. I dove into weeks of study, but doubt lingered—where would I even begin? Then, like a sign from the universe, a call came from a longtime friend. “Can you help me sell my house?” he asked. The opportunity I had been waiting for was here. I was thrust into action, not just as a helper, but as a partner.

What followed was a series of trials—months of navigating bureaucratic regulations, battling unreliable handymen, and pushing through one obstacle after another. The path was far from easy. Setbacks, including financial loss, threatened to dissuade me, but I pressed on, determined to learn.

Though the project didn’t yield the financial gain I had hoped for, I came away with something far more valuable—knowledge and experience.
