My First Attempt at Creating AI Generated Art Using Midjourney

Since I was a little boy, I have always loved art. I spent hours drawing and painting, and I was always fascinated by how artists could create something so beautiful out of nothing. As I grew older, my passion for art grew stronger but in the form of digital art. I love the way that it allows you to create something that is unique, and I love the endless possibilities that it offers. I often use digital art to create graphics for my website. Recently, I was introduced to some fantastic tools that use the power of Artificial Intelligence to generate unique art and all sorts of images. It is almost unbelievable how creative the AI program can get in creating a new piece of art. I've been playing with it for a little while and in this article, I'd like to share it with you.

What AI Generated for My Prompts

Here are some examples of what I got the Midjourney AI to generate, with the prompt I used:

A turtle riding a bike

The Milky way Galaxy road, Bob Ross

In this example, I used the name of painter Bob Ross to create images in his style of painting.

A humanoid robot in the futuristic city of new york

In this case, I used the following prompt:

• a humanoid robot in the futuristic city of new york, photorealistic, ultra detail --ar 9:16

Note that --ar stands for aspect ratio and here I've given the AI instructions to create a vertical image.

Generate an isometric diorama of a Caribbean pirate archipelago thriving pirate city port in the style of civilization 6

Here's the exact command I used for this painting:

• isometric diorama of a Caribbean pirate archipelago thriving pirate city port in the style of civilization 6, civ 6 --ar 89:144 --testp --upbeta --upbeta

Prompt Midjourney AI to generate a broccoli haircut

This is the command I used to generate this one:

Conclusion

There is an endless possibility of art pieces that you can create without much effort! All you need to do is imagine something and think about how you describe it. The right use of keywords could help the AI generate something closer to your imagination. I'll write a separate article on what keywords you could use to get better results.
