My First 90 days at Biolevel, and Beyond...

I’ve now been in my role as business development manager at Biolevel for more than three months; a good time to pause and take stock of where this adventure in bio-nutrition has taken me.I don’t know about you but I have to believe in something if I’m going to represent or sell it.

I wholeheartedly believe in biologicals and their ability to improve various cropping systems. The trick is to move all the fluff to the side and look at the bare bones of the product and company.

There are currently no regulations on biologicals in the US and there are a lot of fly-by-night companies out there. Prior to joining Biolevel I looked into the business and saw how long they have been working with their microbes. That was the moment I understood what separates them from their competitors in the biologicals market.

I’ve now visited farms and seen what Biolevel products can do for growers to improve crop yields and soil health, and to make their operations more efficient and profitable, and I’m excited to be part of a team that genuinely wants to help farmers. Lutz Glandorf , Bill Cordingley and the team aren’t trying to achieve some kind of agenda, they want to do what is best for the growers and best for Biolevel.

The bio-nutrition products in our range, and their various application methods, also show that Biolevel? truly wants farmers to succeed.?We have products that work in most cropping systems. If a grower wants to shoot for maximum yield, we can do that. If a grower wants to be as efficient as possible with their fertility, we can help out in that system and, if a grower wants to take a soil health or regenerative approach, we can do that too!

The next 90 days and beyond

The Corn Belt states are incredibly important to Biolevel, and in the coming months I will be traveling around meeting and getting to know local farmers and distributors, and walking them through our field trial data. It's exciting to meet and talk with potential dealers, distributors, and growers about Biolevel and what we have to offer.

A handful of companies in this sector have cut a lot of corners to grow their companies quickly, where Biolevel wants to grow the company the right way, even if that growth is a bit slower at first. The groundwork that we have all laid sets us apart from the rest. It's very rewarding to have the ‘education conversation’, the ‘product information conversation’, and the ‘what we physically see conversation’ with our growers and sales staff.

It's my opinion that, because we are doing things the right way and investing the time to educate people about our products, we will hit a critical mass, and our growth will become exponential!

Biologicals are poised to have a major impact on agriculture as a whole, and at Biolevel we have a front row seat to the action and the ability to influence great improvements and achieve real impact!
