John Steinbeck famously said, “I guess there are never enough books”, and I would say that goes double for books about water.
So during this holiday season, please think about giving a water book as a gift or maybe pick up one for yourself.

1 年Water: A Biography by Giulio Boccaletti is an excellent read!
Working to help bend the arc of Austin's water use towards a sustainable future.
2 年Lots of good books on the list. I’d add two fiction books that paint interesting stories of a water-scarce future: The Water Knife by Bacigalupi and Dry by Schusterman and Schusterman. The latter is a young adult novel, but if you can’t explain a topic to a middle-schooler, you probably don’t really know it.

2 年I loved the book The Big Thirst so much. I’ve gifted it to new staff in the past, since I think it shows so many angles in such an interesting/well written way.
