My Favorite Spot in College: The Classroom Stage
Every college student has their favorite spot on campus—a corner in the library, a quiet bench under the trees, or the bustling cafeteria. For me, it’s the stage at the front of the classroom. That platform has become more than just a place to stand; it’s a place of connection, challenge, and growth.
Teaching in front of a classroom has its challenges, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. You see students’ eyes light up when they grasp a new concept, or the shift in the room when a discussion takes an unexpected, yet enriching, turn. The stage doesn’t just amplify my voice; it amplifies ideas, collaboration, and learning.
the front of the classroom remains my favorite spot—because it’s where growth happens, both for me and for those I have the honor to teach.
