My Favorite Day of the Year - UHCCF Century Ride
Friends,
On July 29th I will be cycling 100 miles to raise money for the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation. UHCCF is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s health plan.
This is literally my favorite day of the year.
30 days out and I'm feeling great about the ride. I've been training hard, and already have a century under my belt from the Tour de Cure. I've been working with colleagues from Optum Advisory to get in after-work and weekend rides.
In the past, this group has generously donated to the cause, and I hope you will consider doing so again. I've personally committed to raise a $1000 for the effort, in addition to cajoling other riders to join the fun.
If you feel called to join in the fun(d), you can do so by donating at https://www.crowdrise.com/o/en/campaign/optum-advisory-services1/matthewkinney?modified=1. My page is set up to automatically generate an email receipt to you once you’ve donated.
You can find out more information about the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation on their website at www.uhccf.org. Once there, you can view pictures and read the stories of some of the great kids this foundation supports.
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
Sincerely,
Matthew
