My Favorite Color

I would like to ask a very important question. Are we humans? Yes, you heard it right are we humans? I don’t think so, because we all know that humans have some desires, some choices, and some dreams which they own. Maybe those desires remain unfulfilled always, maybe they are not able to get their choices, and maybe sometimes their dreams just stay a dream forever. But, trust me, after all this also, we have these desires, choices, and dreams. Do we really own our desires, choices and dreams or they are just fixed in our minds in such a manner that we think that this is me?

Okay, let me share a short story with you.

Once a new-born princess was kept only in her room since her birth. Her room was completely painted pink. Everything in her room was pink. In fact, her mirror was also painted pink. So, for her, there is only one color in this world, which is pink. So, with time, when she grew up and someone asked her, "what is your favorite color?" Then she answered - PINK.

You must be thinking that why I am sharing this story? I am sharing this story because we are that princess, yes, we all. We all have that innocent Princess in our hearts. We are not understanding that this whole world is painted pink by the society and we are fooling ourselves by thinking that the pink is our favorite color but the reality is that we haven't explored the other colors?

So, start exploring yourselves and then decide that “which is your favorite color”?
