My fascination with the Product-Centric Model Theory

Preamble

This transcript was the result of my reading a LinkedIn post by Chris Chamberlain .

As an Information Architect I am always fascinated by the claims made by theorists about a subject that no one really understands.

In order to explain why the theories regarding the Product-Centric Model will lead to “a failure to communicate” (a quote from the movie Cool Hand Luke) I had to use Microsoft Copilot AI engine to answer these 6 questions in order to arrive at my Conclusion:

1. Explain Murphy’s Law
2. What is a Product-Centric model?
3. What is an IT Silo System?
4. Is a product centric model a synonym for silo systems?
5. In the product centric model theory when do the architects consider the integration with other services and thus avoid it becoming a silo?
6. What things need to be addressed in order to promote a cohesive organizational ecosystem?
