My Fall Internship with STRIVE Real Estate

Initially, accepting a Fall Internship was a stretch considering the timing and my upcoming college baseball season. I want to stress the importance of putting in the extra hour, as pushing myself to join the team at STRIVE came with incomparable benefits that will follow forever. I am thankful to have experienced and witnessed a window of success while working alongside Agents who know how to move forward. The culture at STRIVE is different. This consistently places them as the Leader in Investment Sales in Texas.

STRIVE is a team led by veterans with over 100 years combined experience in the commercial retail industry. The firm specializes in Single/Multi-Tenant Retail Properties but understands the opportunities that come with Commercial and Industrial properties. STRIVE can and will do it all. They are the friend you can rely on to lead in the right direction, and I am grateful to have made those connections within the team. From shadowing Travis Sullivan through day-to-day activities as an Agent to understanding what it takes to oversee an entire market, like David McNeil , I have been exposed to all levels of Real Estate.

As an intern, I became very familiar with Customer Relationship Management and Data Integrity while creating and updating hundreds of property entries to the REA Database. Thanks to Jackson Hefner and West Winter, Jr for showing me the importance of Data and its connection to Real Estate. I realized quickly that up-to-date information is essential for agents and analysts to perform efficiently. We need to know the details on thousands of properties readily available at once, and STRIVE does it best with an in-house information system called iSTRIVE. iSTRIVE is a database for properties unique to STRIVE that I used to manage property owners, potential investors, and general property information. This sets them apart from competitors because you know extra effort is guaranteed with this team.

I greatly appreciate the entire STRIVE group for being so welcoming and leading the way; you all have made this experience enjoyable and beneficial. I look forward to seeing the goals STRIVE achieves in 2023 and would love to say I played a role in the success! Again, thank you to David McNeil for believing I can make a difference, and Jackson Hefner , West Winter, Jr , for guiding me through the process!
