“Failures are in fact Achievements”

“Failures are in fact Achievements”

I am currently working as a HR Executive in an IT firm and I am writing this article to infuse a spirit of motivation among the strugglers and hard workers of our society especially youth. Usually I read biography of top personalities of the world that what type of family background they belong to and how they reach their desired goals. In my observation only those people excel in their life who are not blind followers but who are trendsetters. Only those people are able to make history who have a genuine idea or dream which they wants to be fulfilled.

To my little understanding without having failures no one excel in their life/career no matter what class, clan or tribe a person belongs to. It’s all about the learning experience which a person gains throughout his life especially from its failures. Usually when failures comes in our life sometimes we get badly disappointed and started assuming that now it’s the end of our career which is not true. Just imagine that life is a hurdle race in which there are huge number of participants: in this race not everyone reaches to the target destination on the same time, some reach early some reach late but it’s sure that all participants needs to cross all hurdles in their way. The person who stood first in this race does not mean that other participants of the race are bad performers. All the participants of the race are actually good performers because they have fulfilled that skill set criteria which is actually required to participate in that race rest others were sitting as spectators.

Problem arises there when we start assuming how others perceive about us. Remember we are the one who are solely responsible for our deeds or the way we perceive ourselves. We must need to have good faith in our personality which we term it Locus of control. People don’t have enough time to always think about you so the best tool is to ignore and complete your task if you think you are on the right track.

Every one is blessed with some God gifted capabilities in their personality and now it’s our responsibility  to discover our hidden talent or we opt to lead a life of a common man who simply comes in this world, get his education, did his job and end up after marrying his children.

In life there are no shortcuts at all, Successful people which we see in our daily life are just like a swan swimming in a pool who looks very calm and composed which is one side of the picture but on the flip side in water there is continuous paddling. Same is with our society which only observes the achievements of a person but ignores the other side of that person.

Now it’s our responsibility to set target goals for our lives and start struggling in the right direction to achieve those goals without losing hope and what society think about ourselves. Remember there is a light at the end of every tunnel so keep your fingers crossed and start living a happy quality life.

Some people misinterpret the actual meaning of quality life. It doesn’t mean that we ignore all our responsibilities and start working like donkeys from morning to evening in order to reach our desired goals which will ultimately detroit our quality of life. Quality of life means we need to distribute our time intelligently among our responsibilities in such a way that time spent with friends and family or time spent on our daily exercise or on our diet never ever gets compromised. It’s a common lame excuse which we hear from many people that they don’t have time. Even though I have heard this rebuttal from many jobless people as well that they don’t have time. This is not because they are so much busy in their lives but this is because they are not very good managers in managing their routine which ultimately spoils their quality of life.

Most of us wants to have a great future at the cost of our present which is a common dilemma of our youth. We cannot foresee our future accurately and we are not capable to change our past then why not we start living in our present and instead of complaining what we don’t have we need to thank what we have at  present. A person on a cycle may be enjoying more with his family on a lovely day as compared to a person on a car with his family and dreaming about a luxury car.

At the end I would like to conclude that believe in yourself make your own identity, always learn from your mistakes and do add some value for the betterment of your society and for your people.
