My Eyes Are Not Your Eyes!
It’s so strange to read this sentence. And I know you must be thinking, “What kind of title is this?”
I’ve been inactive for a long time and regret this, but I’ve decided to come forward and start posting again. This time, I am setting smaller, more achievable goals. I will be posting twice a week, without fail. If I miss any days, feel free to comment on any of my posts or dm.
Now, let me explain what I want to convey with this title.
It’s been more than a month since I started traveling regularly by metro. Each time I’m in the metro, I am struck by the thought that we always make ourselves the center of the world, acting as if the whole world revolves around us. But the reality is, we are very small—infinitesimally small—parts of the whole universe. Just as we see ourselves at the center, so do others, each thinking their own thoughts.
Some of these people are confident about their future, some are contemplating the chores they need to do after reaching home, others are dealing with family issues, and some are constantly in self-doubt. Despite the differences in their worries and preoccupations, whenever I look at them, I see a certain beauty. They all look different, but they are all so beautiful.
This realization makes me appreciate the diversity of human experiences and perspectives. Each person has their own unique story, their struggles, and their triumphs. Recognizing this helps me to stay grounded and reminds me that everyone is dealing with their own set of challenges, even if they are different from mine.
I always have that feeling that somewhere inside, we forget to appreciate the beauty around us, not only in the form of scenery but also in people, those beautiful people who are constantly trying to get ahead and be better.
So, as I resume my journey of sharing my thoughts and experiences, I hope to connect with others who might feel the same way. Let’s appreciate the diversity around us and remember that our perspectives are just one of many in this vast universe.
