My Experience at the Launch Event of VANIX Customized FPGA Boards in IIT Ropar

The excitement was palpable as I walked into the auditorium of IIT Ropar, Punjab for the launch event of Vanix Technologies customized FPGA boards. The air was buzzing with anticipation and curiosity, and tech enthusiasts from across the country had gathered to witness this groundbreaking development in FPGA technology. As a passionate engineer myself, I couldn't wait to get my hands on these cutting-edge boards and explore their capabilities firsthand. In this blog post, I will share my experience at the launch event of vanix.in Customized FPGA Boards in IIT Ropar - an unforgettable day that left me both inspired and impressed by the innovative potential of FPGA technology.

Introduction to Vanix Technologies

Vanix, founded in 2021, by Dr. Ashwani Rana, Muddasani Satyanarayana (Ph.D.), and Dr. Mandhatya Singh has expertise in cutting-edge research, and the designing of customized digital controllers.Vanix.in's mission is to make FPGA technology more accessible and affordable for everyone. Vanix entered the market with an ambition to serve the Research and Development (R&D) needs of Industry and academia. Vanix primarily has two business sectors, one with Industry as the primary focus; the second with academia as the targeted area to serve.

The launch event of vanix.in Customized FPGA Boards was held on March 18, 2023 at the IIT Ropar campus. The event was attended by industry experts, academics, and students from all over India. The event started with a keynote address by the director of IIT Ropar, Prof.Rajeev Ahuja, followed by eminent speakers from the industry.

Overview of IIT Ropar

IIT Ropar is one of the premier engineering institutes in India. It is located in the state of Punjab and was established in 1986. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various engineering disciplines. IIT Ropar has been ranked among the top 20 engineering colleges in India by various surveys and publications. The institute has a strong research culture and is home to many world-class laboratories and facilities.

Experiences from the Event

It was an honor to be invited to the launch event of vanix.in Customized FPGA Boards in IIT Ropar. The event was a great success with the collaboration of IIT Ropar - Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF) .

The event started with an introduction to vanix company and its products. This was followed by a demo of the boards by the founders. The students and faculty were very impressed with the product.

Overall, it was a great event and I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend.
