My Experience at Apple

It all started in the year 2010 at R001, the "first" Apple Retail store at the Glendale Galleria - yeah that other store at Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia opened at the same time but we got the official "on the books" retail store number. We were the cool store!

This is really all a dramatic lead-up to the fact that I just came across some fun photos of my time at Apple and was reminded of the truly amazing people I worked with, the joys I had teaching classes, and helping run our “Apple Camp” for kids (ages 8-12).

Putting a smile on someone’s face after teaching them something new, helping them fix an issue, or just helping them set up a new device, each day was always an exciting adventure.

Some of the most passionate, talented, and imaginative people I met at this store, and I still continue to stay in touch with them.

Unfortunately, after a year in a half, due to family circumstances, I had to transfer to the Apple store in Valencia, CA, just 30 mins outside of Los Angeles. Apple however did not disappoint and I made even more amazing friends who are like family to me.

I am so truly thankful for the experience I had at both stores and the lifetime of friendships I made and still have today, thanks to Apple.?
