The Pons is a region of the brainstem located above the medulla oblongata and below the midbrain. It is an important structure involved in various functions of the central nervous system. Functionally, the Pons serves as the bridge that connects different regions of the brain, facilitating communication and coordination between them. It contains many nerve fiber tracts that relay signals between the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and other areas of the brain.
The Reticular Activating System (RAS) plays a crucial role in modulating brain activity and facilitating cognitive processes. Its primary goal is to reset the mind, restoring balance and harmony. However, excessive work and overstimulation can lead to an imbalance, causing suffering. Symptoms such as perception, attention, memory issues, sleep disorders, cognitive dysfunction, and mood changes can manifest as consequences of sin.
The RAS is deeply intertwined with the physical body, particularly the cervical plexus. Pain, tingling, and numbness in the neck, shoulders, and upper arms may be experienced. Furthermore, the root of this suffering extends to the reproductive system, including the testes, vagina, pelvis, legs, feet, and adrenals. Furthermore, the Pons contributes to cognitive processes, including attention and sensory integration. It helps filter and integrate sensory information, allowing us to focus on relevant stimuli and ignore distractions. Acceptance, rooted in Divine Love, is the skill that can alleviate the flaws of the Pons. By accepting the love and grace bestowed upon us, we can experience the glory of Godly recompense. Adonai, the divine figure associated with the Pons, embodies love, fearlessness, and moral uprightness in alignment with God's will. Suffering for one's faith may lead to worry, fear, pressure, opposition, and difficulties in attention, learning, memory, breathing, sleeping, and regulating the autonomic nervous system.
The intricate connection between the Pons and the gut is evident through the Celiac Plexus and the Gut-Brain Axis. Digestive problems, mood disorders, and immune dysfunction can arise when the Pons is not in harmony. Additionally, the mitochondria encompassing the energy for metabolism, and digestive system, which is closely intertwined with the Pons. The brain regions associated with the Pons include the Hypothalamus, Pituitary Gland, RAS, and the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal Axis (HPA).
In summary, the Pons serves as a critical relay center and coordinator for various functions of the central nervous system, including sleep regulation, vital functions control, sensory and motor processing, and cognitive processes such as attention.
