My Early New Year's Resolution ??

My Early New Year's Resolution ??

As we stand on the cusp of a new year, many of us are knee-deep in plans, goals, and resolutions for 2025. We’re strategizing, organizing, and dreaming big. But let me pause for a moment and ask you this: when was the last time you truly savored the life you’ve built?

I’m not talking about ticking a vacation off your bucket list or finally landing that promotion. I’m asking about those fleeting, everyday moments—the ones that come and go so quickly that they’re often gone before we even realize their importance.

We all run at a breakneck speed. Our lives are packed with meetings, deadlines, commutes, and commitments. And in all that hustle, we lose something priceless. We lose the ability to savor the beauty of the ordinary.

Think about it: when was the last time you stopped everything to watch the sunset, not because you were snapping a photo for Instagram, but because you wanted to soak in its colors?

Or when did you last marvel at the stars against the dark sky without your mind racing about tomorrow’s to-do list?

What about your child’s sporting event? Were you fully present, cheering from the sidelines, or were you sneaking glances at your phone, replying to an email that could have waited?

And intimacy with your spouse—those quiet, connected moments—have they become something you postpone, promising yourself you’ll make time for it next weekend or next month?

We all fall into this trap. The grind of daily life can trick us into believing that the next time will be different. That we’ll savor those moments when we’ve achieved our goals, when things are less chaotic, when we’ve “earned” the right to slow down.

But here’s the truth: those moments don’t wait for us. They pass by, uncelebrated, unnoticed, and often forgotten.

To savor is to fully experience and appreciate a moment. It’s not just being physically present—it’s being emotionally and mentally engaged.

It’s noticing the laughter of your children, the warmth of your spouse’s touch, the crisp air on a winter morning, or the simple pleasure of a good meal.

It’s putting down your phone, stepping away from the chaos, and allowing yourself to feel grateful for the now.

Because the now is all we truly have.

How Do We Start Savoring?

??Be Intentional

??Practice Gratitude

??Capture Moments, Not Things

??Learn to Pause

??Set Boundaries

In 2025, I’m committing to savoring—with all my strength, all my energy, and all my heart. I’m choosing to see the beauty in the ordinary, to slow down when the world tells me to speed up, and to prioritize what truly matters. I invite you to do the same.

And ask yourself: What do I need to savor today? Because life is not about how much we do—it’s about how deeply we live.

Want to start 2025 with a powerful bang? There is never a better time than today to take the action to get back in balance and live an elite life at work and at home. Want to know more? Just click on the image below to find out more.

In early 2024 my dad has his second stroke. He has been doing quite well. However it has given me the opportunity to spend more special and quality time with him that will forever be cherished. In today's society we are all running at a fast past. My goal in 2025 is to balance my life and truly capture the special moments that life brings. God bless all!
