I hope you are doing well and you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

Today I want to talk about Real Estate investment in the Austin metropolitan area.

With tech companies either coming to our area or expanding their presence in Austin and surroundings, the need for living spaces for their employees is growing fast.

The demand for affordable rental space in close proximity to the new campuses is growing with the same speed as the need for homes for sale. There is already loads of construction on the way. New apartment complexes, townhomes, duplexes and single family homes are either in planning, under construction or already completed.

There are lots of opportunities for individuals or companies who want to invest in those properties.

Of course, not everybody wants to invest in a part of an apartment complex, but there are other options.

It could be as easy as buying a duplex and living on one side and leasing out the other or leasing out both sides.

If somebody is more interested in land to build their own rental dream on it, that would be possible too.

At this point, I believe, investments in the right project located near to these campuses could be profit generating and future proof opportunities.
