I am a tech fan, I am interested in how technology works and applied in business and our life, but I am not a tech guy by the way, though I enjoy playing around with personal small projects, learning, exploring tools. Recently I have some time off and plan to find some challenges to tickle my brain. The challenge I set for myself is to recreate my Django blog which I have created ( basically copy paste from the tutorial) 2 years ago when I was stuck at home during the pandemic in Beijing. And I did, Yeah !!!!!, try my new Django blog here, https://www.oskarcode.com/, you can see the codes with explanation here, https://github.com/oskarcode/oskarcode.com.git.
A bit more about my coding experience, I was not majored in CS or have not studied coding at school or work, it attracted me when I played with Amazon Echo functions several years ago, the possibility that I can make the echo more personalized by changing some functions appealed to me and I started to learn and understand code deeply. I joined some python bootcamps and start to learn python from codecademy(codecademy.com) since then.
Long story short, with coming weeks, I will share how I recreated the Django blog with three sections, section one will be about the Django project, section two is about how I host it in AWS ubuntu with Nginx web server, section three is about how I set up the domain and DNS with Cloudflare. Keep tuned if you are interested.
