“My deepest fear is not that I am inadequate. My deepest fear is that I am powerful beyond measure. It is my light, not the darkness that most frightens me. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, gifted and fabulous? Actually, the right question is, “Who am I not to be?” ?We are children of God. Playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, like children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as you let your own light shine, you subconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others. And together our lights brighten the world until every darkness is overcome”
