My costs are increasing, but my clicks aren't

As PPC becomes more competitive, one issue that is becoming more common is rising cost per click (CPCs).

This can happen due these reasons:

  1. Poor/Low Quality Score.
  2. The costs in your industry are increasing.
  3. Possibly your competitors are increasing their bids.
  4. Click traffic may vary due to seasonal interests or current events


How to Deal with Increasing CPC?

  1. Improve your Quality Score.
  2. Research Alternative variations(Low CPC) Keyword to target.(Perform Wider & Deeper Search). Example: Long Tail Keyword.
  3. Experimenting with different match types. Example Exact are more costly comparing with Broad and Phrase Type.
  4. Change Your Bidding Strategy.
  5. Use Negative Keyword to reduce unnecessary spend by Excluding irrelevant traffic.
