My copy-writing verdict: If the copywriter is engaged in advertising or trade, he/she must understand the psychology of the buyer, be able to work with plans and expectations, study the technology of sales and negotiations.
If he/she writes educational products, he/she should own the technology of training, depending on the age and level of training of the audience. Writing educational materials for children is not the same as for adults.
When receiving an order from a client, he/she must be able to ask the right questions, direct the conversation lest putting the interlocutor in an uncomfortable position, he/she must lead him out of the standard memorized monologues.
