My Conversation With Mahatma Gandhi

My Conversation With Mahatma Gandhi

Arshak Andriasov - Thank you, dear Mahatma Gandhi, for helping humanity learn what it takes to make a difference. Can you share with us the key attributes in changing the world?

Mahatma Gandhi - ”You must be the change you wish to see in the world. In a gentle way, you can shake the world. Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.”

Arshak Andriasov - I completely understand, Mr. Gandhi. It saddens me that people have so much hate these days, instead of bringing unity in a positive way. I have distanced myself from so many people due to this.

Mahatma Gandhi - ”You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

Arshak Andriasov - But you dealt with so many horrific people. How did you overcome them?

Mahatma Gandhi - ”First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

Arshak Andriasov - So many people have built bitterness inside of them. They feel angry because life has not brought them everything they thought they deserve. How sad it is to me when people are not happy about the success of others. I never understood the reason of jealousy.

Mahatma Gandhi - ”Anger is the enemy of non-violence and pride is a monster that swallows it up. Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances. Morality is the basis of things and truth is the substance of all morality. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained.”

Arshak Andriasov - There are so many falsities created by misinformation. It is important to have an open mind and to try to decipher all possible angles of a situation.

Mahatma Gandhi - ”What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy? Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment.”

Arshak Andriasov - How strong your strength is. It is with this kind of energy were you able to help the world. What would you advise our readers?

Mahatma Gandhi - ”Where there is love there is life. The main purpose of life is to live rightly, think rightly, act rightly.”

Arshak Andriasov - Thank you so much for your time, advice, and compass. This will help everyone reading this and will be shared everywhere possible.
