My connections are your connections- Kate Sutton

Kate Sutton and I met a few years ago in a coffee shop where we discussed our passion for grief and loss counseling. We both shared a common experience of having lost a parent, finding our new "normal" after a significant loss, and our dedication to helping others. Since this coffee shop conversation, our paths have taken turns and ultimately lead us back to each other in a new capacity. Counselor Kate, a Licensed Professional Counselor, continues to grow her private practice in Downtown Raleigh, NC with an additional interest in body image and eating disorders. Kate's ideal clients are girls and women who are looking to heal from anxiety, trauma, and body image issues. As a yoga teacher and play therapist, Kate enjoys using art, mindfulness, play, and movement to help clients unlock what they've been missing in their life. When Kate is not seeing clients, you will often find her teaching at Open Door Yoga Studio or a cup of coffee at BREW.
