my comments in today's NY Daily News about President Trump's conflict of interest re: new tax code

My comments in today's NY Daily News

Greenburgh, N.Y.: President Trump and many of the members of Congress who voted for the tax bill will become richer because of their actions. And many middle-class New Yorkers will become poorer. I think the President has a conflict of interest. Why should he and members of Congress be able to personally profit from their actions when they are intentionally hurting residents who live in blue states? The personal profits the President and members of Congress could make from the new law shouldn’t go to them but to a fund to help those who experience extraordinary hardships as a result of their actions.
