My 'Circles' of Success
A 37x Better Life

My 'Circles' of Success

Today... another. friend. asked. again. ?

He asked the same question I’ve been asked — dozens of times since the start of this year

“How do you keep up with the ‘1% Better’ daily exercise?"

And I answered the same way I did all of March… “It’s hard work!”

(to improve my life and/or work by 1% every day)?

There are days when the commitment is easy, and even enjoyable, to fulfill. ?

  • These are days when I have time to work on my self, and to publish my day’s work — to fulfill a commitment I made in public (here).
  • These are days when I feel inspired to invent (or adopt) a life-hack or productivity-hack.

BUT — there are days (like today) when it’s just so packed.? When there are already a dozen things to do — that move the business forward by that ‘1%’.?

And yet, I want something distinctive… something outside the work that’s been planned.? Something more — to increase growth.

I find that on such days, I experience providence in the form of articles like this one by Sahil Bloom … in which he referenced a framework developed by Dharmesh Shah of HubSpot

It’s called — the Circles of Success.

And it calls us to inquire of the 3-5 “Arenas” in which we can be the world’s ‘Top 1%’. ?

That (1%) seems like a real stretch.? If I can be top 1% at something/s, it’ll be great.? But if not — then perhaps Top-single-digit-%. Main thing is — to think about the 3-5 thing that we can do better than >95% of other folks.

AND THEN — identify what lies in the intersection of these ‘circles’.

My action today — was to list some of the circles I know of.? And to ask some friends and former co-workers, what they consider my ‘Circles’ are.

1% is stretch, my hubby would tell my kids be the 10%!
