My career can only get as good and fulfilling as I feel…

Before burning out with stress everything felt really hard…

I believed that creating a career with good results required raw effort...

Not just putting in the work and making an effort, I mean giving everything, and how I felt in the process was not important as long as it generated results.

I kept telling myself that it was worth it.?Because I kept telling myself that as soon as I crossed the finish line - got the results at work, a promotion, enough recognition - everything would be different ??

THEN I would feel great about myself, and I could finally believe that I was good enough and on the rigth path in my life: the good and fulfilling life could begin.?

But nothing changed because I achieved a new result or got a promotion:

My self-worth and feeling of enoughness were still totally dependent on external circumstances: The comfort of external recognition lasts only a short while…?But I was hooked and kept on going eager to go out and find the missing links that could fill me up…?

The harder I worked for it the more disconnected and exhausted did I feel…?

I started to feel trapped in a life that did not feel right…?

What I realized after burning out BIG time was that?

• My career can only get as good and fulfilling as I feel…
• My sense of fulfillment requires me to be aware of and connected with my needs and what I truly want and WHY I want that…
• My sense of freedom is conditioned by my own awareness and ability to make conscious choices that align with my values and who I am…
