My Camper-van-camino
Andy Marshall ??
Architectural and Interiors Photographer in time-travelling camper van. ??????? Architecture, Travel, History, Place, Material Culture, Genius Loci Digest, Camper-van-camino
I thought I’d share the story behind my Genius Loci Digest, which is more than just a travel diary. After a breakdown in my 30s, it became a salve—helping me untangle anxiety, find solace, and move forward by connecting deeply with the places around me.
My Genius Loci Digest takes you along on my camper-van camino—a journey into places, stories, and the spirit of place, but also into self: how I navigate personal struggles and face the challenges of the wider world.
The support I’ve received keeps me on the road just as much as my trusty camper van, Woody. People have said such kind things about the Digest—it’s a joy to share these moments with you - thanks to Maria.

1 个月Fascinating.
Quiet facilitation - strategy, collaboration, governance, evaluation, planning
2 个月The crypt at Berkswell church is my place for restoration, an incredible place of Norman origin along with the chancel and corbel table of the church which has Robert Thompson mice to find as well. The tiny village still has its ancient well, stocks and Crimean War cannon, and lends its name to a windmill and railway station several miles away in Balsall Common.
