My Business Journey Has What In Common With Manufacturing a Jeep?

Not too long ago I found my attention being absorbed by a video of the Jeep manufacturing plant. The robotic arms were attaching various components of the all terrain vehicle. I started thinking about how long it takes to get one of those cars finished...

Take a minute and give this one a read...

Always remember that whether it's life, love, or business, they are all processes... Sometimes long ones and sometimes down right hard ones, but just like this Jeep they start from nothing and as all the parts all come together they make something pretty amazing.

I think we can all learn a few things from this manufacturing process by reading way too far into Jeep's manufacturing process or any process for that matter!

First, Respect Your Journey People!

You can't make it from A to Z with out . navigating the rest of the alphabet, so be patient and trust in your work ethic to push until you get to Z! It may take a while, but it's all worth it! Every last one of you has a process to get through before you get to the end, if you don't respect the process and be patient you will not get where you want to go. That does not mean sit on your hands and wait, just don't get frustrated when the processes outside your control aren't moving as fast as you'd like.

Second, Be Intentional and Define Your Goals!

Just like this video their is no useless action, everything is working together towards the end goal of finishing that car. Likewise define where you want to be and center your life around achieving that goal, whatever that may be! Everything you do should push you towards success (however you wish to define that word).

Third, Strive for Greatness!

This doesn't mean you have to strive to be a business tycoon, a real estate mogul, or an apex predator, but if that's your goal be the best of each that you can be! Greatness is ill defined today, but greatness is achievable by any single human being that walks this earth. You have more power to achieve than you can possibly imagine, so USE IT!

(Look up this quote, you may be surprised where it is from...)

Lastly, Trust and Yourself

There are times where you don't feel like you're getting any closer to your goals, but as long as you know your giving it your all, then that is the time you need to trust in yourself. That doesn't mean you can't seek guidance because it's always great to have someone to help hold you accountable, but trust in yourself...

Because...

If you ever feel like your world is falling apart, just remember it may just be falling right into place...
