My breaz experience
I met breaz.io during a meetUp on NodeJs. At first sight, I didn't realize how really good was the concept for both developer AND society ... Let me introduce you this awesome tool :
Enterprises are filtered
At time of writing, breaz just get their 400th enterprises. These enterprises are all IT driven. There no consulting business, no web agency. They're only start-ups and awesome companies where managers, developers, designers, data scientist, and even CTO are the center of the activity.
This is the reason why I've accepted Jean-Loup, the lead talent at breaz, when he added me in his LinkedIn network.
It's really fast
I've imported all my reference from LinkedIn into breaz.io and started to complet and modify my profil. Few days after my profil was sent, I received a call from breaz asking me some questions about when/what/where/how I want my next job to be. The day after, I was in a session.
The session
During two weeks, your profil is provided to companies which matches your desire. When they're interested, they send you a description of the job with a minimum salary.
The point
During this weeks, I've received more than a dozen offers from 35K to 50K + stock options. It was incredible, just 4 of them doesn't really match with what I want. All others were really interesting businesses. The game is to answer quickly and clearly if you are interested or not. (if you don't do it in time, the breaz team send you a reminder ^^).
Conclusion
It was an awesome experience. I was sceptical at first. I mean why I would on breaz when hundred of head hunters track me on LinkedIn ? Because in addition of it, you've got serious offers on breaz. Offers that you know are good for you and without all the blabla ...
The breaz team seems really engaged in my search, but why do they do that ? Clearly, it's not for fun, every time people are hired via breaz.io, they take a little bit to the enterprise. It's transparent for you and insignificant for enterprises compare to the 20 to 30% taken by the head hunters.
That's why I wanted to write some paper on it. Because it's a good way to find a job of your dream even if all you need is love :)
English isn't my first language so, if you see anything wrong. Please correct me.
