My breakfast plan

My breakfast in recent years consisted of 3 items.

1. Boiled rice

2. Cereal with milk

3. Coffee

Enhancements

1. Boiled Rice: This is a traditional Shanghainese breakfast from rice with leftover from the day prior, supplemented by preserved turnips or cucumber. Recent enhancements include actually boiling the rice instead of just a quick 1.5-min microwaving.

2. Cereal with milk: This was always Post Oats with almond plus 2% milk enhanced with raisins and dried prunes

3. Coffee: Nescafe instant coffee enhanced with a black tea bag to lessen the acidity plus half-and-half.

The last item is my iPad allowing me to catch up with news and social media: WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
