If someone had told me that I would be the author of forty-six books up to this point in my life, I would have called them a two-faced liar, and informed them that the truth was not possible for them. To come all the way from an individual who had no road to his house until he was six-years old. Who had no electricity until the road was built. Had no gas, plumbing, or telephone until much later in life. Went to school some days without lunch money, and attended a segregated school that was on a shoestring budget. Was neglected and psychologically as well as physically abused. Had multi-problems in his family. Lived in a shotgun shack at the end of a dirt road; rats ran freely through the house; and a strong wind could be felt indoors during a cold day in winter. But I was able to graduate high school, attend college, join the military, attend two graduate schools, and work on a Ph.D. at two major universities.
