MY AWS JOURNEY

I started my AWS class a month ago and it has been an interesting journey so far. For me, learning new technology has always been something I look forward to. So, today I created my first virtual machine(web01) on Aws Cloud and hosted a website on it.

STEPS

1.Created a Virtual Machine on AWS (Web01)

2. Linked it to subnet within my Aws Cloud

3.Setting inbound rules for it to be accessed from my Public ip

4. Associated it with elastic ip such that when the virtual machine is power off the public ip remains the same when power up

5.Made use of Git bash for SSH connection to access my virtual machine

6. Hosted a website (template from https://tooplate.com) on Aws Cloud which can be accessed using URL: https://54.172.13.221:80)
