My Apps Are Unusual


I was comparing cell phone apps with a friend of mine recently and made a strange discovery. The apps on his phone were a lot different than mine. I jokingly told him that he had some “weird” stuff on his phone. He looked at my phone and asked me why I had all these unusual apps on mine. 

I explained to him that I needed all those apps to enhance my lifestyle. (I have lots of fishing apps) 

The point here is this. When it comes to sales and dealing with your prospect, what you and I think is normal or average might be totally irrelevant to your prospect.

A smart sales consultant is very observant. He or she knows to ask a lot of questions and listen carefully. When it comes to selling any product or service remember one size does not fit all.

What is important to you might not be so interesting to your prospect. Remember to look for a problem then provide the solution.
