I have always had a burning passion for learning from people about their life stories and definitions of success as every person has their own. It’s fascinating to learn how people envision their future at a young age, create experiences, and deal with circumstances in life. In the end, they discover extraordinary things about themselves. As the title suggests, this is a series of conversations with people you may not know but who have built their life journey and an appreciation for it. They have either inspired me, advised me, or all the above. Thus, my reason to document it and share it with the world.

I have decided to post this series because I know there are many people out there who are capable of achieving objectives not yet imagined but, for any or many reasons are not motivated to do so.

What happens when you land in New York City at age 20 by yourself, without knowing anyone, with little money and no English but, an unflagging determination to search for the real meaning of the so-called American dream? My vivid memories and stories of my 21-year-journey in America.
