My Adaptability Journey in Bangkit 2023

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one most adaptable to change. - Charles Darwin

My experiences in the Bangkit program have underscored the significance of these qualities, reflected in my ways of interacting, achieving, learning, working, and thinking. Let me share my story about how I adapted to change.

Ways of Interacting

During the Bangkit program, I had the opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I learned to develop my communication skills to interact and communicate with others. As English is the primary language of the Bangkit program, I was inspired to invest more effort in learning the language, improving both my expression and understanding. All of this experience contributed significantly to the development of my social skills.

Ways of achieving

Throughout my journey, I realized the essence of setting achievable goals and effectively managing my time. As the tasks came with specific deadlines, I learned to prioritize tasks, breaking them down into manageable segments to stay on track and meet the project deadlines successfully.

Ways of learning

In the Bangkit program, I faced the challenge of understanding complex materials through online courses. To overcome this, I explored the topics using different resources to deepen my understanding. Moreover, the provision of online meetings with instructors offered a valuable platform for resolving uncertainties. This way of learning not only helped me understand better but also encouraged me to be more active in my learning

Ways of working

I learned to adapt by efficiently managing my time and avoiding procrastination because of the course and task deadlines. Actively engaging in group discussions in live sessions has also become my priority. This improved my time management skills and made me more proactive in my work within the program.

Ways of thinking

I changed my way of thinking in the Bangkit program, moving from seeing challenges as roadblocks to viewing them as chances to learn and grow. This shift helped me become more resilient and positive when facing difficulties. Embracing this new mindset not only improved my problem-solving skills but also made me more adaptable and open to learning in the program

In summary, these five dimensions of adaptability have not only shaped my personal and academic growth but have also served as the guiding principles for overcoming various challenges in life.
