My Action-Packed New Years' Planning Post Just For You

My Action-Packed New Years' Planning Post Just For You

2024 is just around the corner. This either provides intense emotions of excitement or anxiety. Our planning for 2024 began in September, and focusses on a number of key points which drill down on what our candidate goals and client goals are, and what can we do to support them.

That said, goal setting can seem like a very arduous task to many and when many of us here at FranOvation came from a world of smart goals and quadrant prioritizing, we know that the lessons we learned and structure of goal setting personally is more important than ever right now.

Why?

Well because goal setting and execution on your own is plain tough.

Want to be your own boss? Ok, let's unpack that. First, if you are self-employed, unemployed or perhaps a newcomer to Canada, finding the way, time and effort to source out viable business opportunities can feel like a job in itself. Wouldn't it be easier to have a team of research people and support behind you instead of aimlessly applying for businesses without much traction or response? (HINT-we can help you in that)

Already owning a franchise and looking to expand? This too shares an abundance of challenges as you have an existing system under your belt, experience of becoming a business owner and crave to see what else is out there -so education is king. We understand that, we truly do.

Are you an existing business and seeking to expand? Fun fact - we now get over 3 inquiries a week in just under two years from companies wondering if franchising is right for them. We will say it once but say it again - it comes down to time, energy, budget and bench strength to help support you in your goals.

Regardless of what bucket you fall into in my network, let's put some tangible action items into place for your 2024 goal setting and really make this year the one to achieve what it is that makes your heart sing and your bank account happy.

Top Questions to ask before goal setting for a New Year (COMMENT YOUR RESPONSES BELOW!)

  1. What are the top three things you did well for 2023?
  2. What are the biggest failures/lessons learned from 2023? What do I not wish to carry forward into 2024?
  3. Where do I see myself in 2024?
  4. Who are the people in my circle who support me best? The least? What adjustments do I need to make to better serve my personal and professional goals?
  5. If I could wave a magic wand, what does happiness look like to you at the end of 2024?

I would personally love to receive and hear your responses either posted below, or sent to me personally at [email protected].

Let's plan for an incredible 2024, and best wishes to you and your future success!

Yours in franchising,
