My 9th year service anniversary
Wow... Got a notif that I've been here for 9 years.
It's really just a blink of an eye I think about it, I could still remember taking a phone interview from a reception space after my doing a short translation gigs at Recruit Japan.
The lead support engineer from Bulgaria was giving me a hard time answering linux and network troubleshooting questions. Next thing I know I had to replace the position of a sole support engineer for QRadar. Luckily I was able to survive all the storm for about a year and half juggling all the PMRs which eventually evolved into salesforce tickets for Japan's top clients until I had to hand it over to a new team put together to continue the support work when I transfer to become local manager for WSO Japan looking after their hardware replacement and warranty management. From there I keep on graduating to another level by evolving into a financial analyst for GRE's cafeteria management and further to CIO's business operation where I am now while dispatched to Network Engineering team to manage SDWAN and VOICE projects. It's a really a nonstop rollercoaster ride for me having to upgrade and re-upgrade different skills and work domains, but hey, I survived and still show this cando attitude to keep things cool. I still don't know what lies ahead and what's in store for the future, but I would keep on sharping my axe and go where the going gets tough. I just leave this as congratulatory remarks for myself. Thanks for reading.
