My 9-Step Approach To Building A High-Performing Team!

When I started INSIDEA, I knew that having a smart team wasn’t ‘just’ going to be enough - I needed a team that worked together like a dream.???

And I’m lucky to have fulfilled my dream!?

But building a great team doesn't happen overnight.?

From being a team of 5 to now crossing the 70+ mark - we believe in growing and improving every day. We encourage learning new things and are curious about exploring new ideas.?

Our motto was to keep getting better!

I'm incredibly proud of our team at INSIDEA. They have shown what can happen when people come together and work as one. ??

It's been an exhilarating ride filled with ups and downs, but I've learned some valuable lessons along the way that I can't wait to share!

“Teamwork is more than just a buzzword – it's the backbone of innovation and progress.” - Pratik Thakker, Founder & CEO, at INSIDEA

I encouraged a culture where everyone felt comfortable sharing ideas and feedback. I feel this is extremely important as it:

  • Encourages Collaboration: It also promoted collaboration and brainstorming, leading to more effective teamwork.
  • Promotes Feedback Culture: Our culture of open communication nurtured a continuous feedback loop, helping us grow and improve together.

Celebrating milestones, big or small, became a cherished tradition for us. Including everyone in celebrating success helps as it:

We understood that building a high-performing team is an ongoing process. We found that iterating and adapting help as follow:

  • Risk Reduction: By staying flexible and agile, we were able to mitigate risks and address potential issues early on. ???
  • Innovation and Creativity: Embracing iteration fostered a creative and innovative environment within the team.
  • Future-Proofing: We prepared our team to handle unforeseen challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities by adapting to evolving circumstances.

As we wrap up this conversation, I want you to remember one thing: building a high-performing team is not a sprint; it's a marathon.

But most importantly, it's about people. It's about their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. It's about creating an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and inspired to give their best.

So, if you're on a journey to build your dream team, remember to put your people first. Because, at the end of the day, it's the people who make a team great. It's the people who turn a vision into reality. It's the people who make the dream work.

And as I look at the incredible team we've built at INSIDEA, I can't help but feel incredibly proud and grateful.

I didn't just build a team, I built a family.

And that, my friends, is the most rewarding part of the journey.
