My 60-day posting challenge: Lessons in Engagement, Balance and Perspective

My 60-day posting challenge: Lessons in Engagement, Balance and Perspective

Boy, did I not know what I was getting myself into, when I agreed to this challenge. Well, other than a Big Juicy Steak, courtesy of John Knotts .

Halfway Through my 60-day posting challenge, I find myself in a unique position of reflection so far. This challenge has pushed me to explore different types of content, from picture posts to documents, black and white, even poll based posts. It's been a really cool experience, and over the past 30 days, I feel I have learned so much from my content, my audience, and my group.

One of the most exciting aspects of this challenge has been learning the diverse content formats, and to tell you the truth, if it wasn't for this challenge, I can't say I would've ever used them. However, I have discovered two types of posts that have stood out as my personal favorites- Document posts and poll posts.

While these types of posts have had the least interactions, I have enjoyed them for specific reasons. Document posts have allowed me to create engaging, informative, and visually appealing content that aligns with my values and interests. While Poll posts, on the other hand, have been both challenging and fulfilling.

As I analyzed the responses to my posts, it was pretty clear that certain themes resonated more strongly with my audience. Nutrition, adventure, spirituality, and purpose. All topics that are really close to my heart. It truly is gratifying to see that my connections can identify with these themes, reinforcing the importance of sharing authentic content that reflects our values.

One of the most intriguing things I have found during this challenge was the information I collected during the poll posts. I would like to share some with you. When it came to finding balance in life; having social connections, lifelong learning and embracing nature had an even 3 way split, all at 33%. Proving the diversity of priorities and interests among my audience.

When it came to dietary choices, intermittent fasting was the clear favorite with a whopping 64% of the vote. Keto followed by 18%, which was cool to see, as the results reflect a growing awareness of the importance of mindful eating and its benefits.

When it came to Lifelong Learning, 94% of respondents believe in the power of continuous education. Which was no surprise to me as I can testify to the shared commitment to learning, the open mindedness, and the curiosity of those around me.

The question about the impact of 9/11 on the world had an overwhelming response, with 94% of poll voters acknowledging that the world has changed significantly since that tragic event. This speaks to the awareness of the evolving global landscape within my connections.

In my mindset poll, the majority of the respondents believed that resilience and adaptability are key components for a "success mindset." And on the topic of AI, it was interesting to note that 27% of voters expressed concern about job displacement, while 36% were worried about security risks and ethical dilemmas. These statistics certainly reflect a growing awareness surrounding artificial intelligence and its impact on the world.

As I look back on the first 30 days of my 60-day posting challenge, I'm filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. The knowledge I have gained from daily posting feels like a specific power beyond personal growth. I have gained new connections and grown closer to the ones I already have. I've learned new things from everyones perspectives and am starting to understand their opinions. I am excited about the next 30 days of this journey, I really can't wait to see what the future holds as I share, learn and grow with all of you.

Thank you John Knotts for the challenge and everyone else who has been walking with me on this exciting journey and thank you to those who are about to jump on.
