Since I joined Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka as part of the Cloud Computing cohort, I was surprised because of the tight schedule for completing courses and assignments. However, I have adapted to the learning systems that Bangkit provides. One of the key lessons I recently learned is the importance of adaptability and I have found that adaptability is essential in 5 areas which are interacting, achieving, learning, working, and thinking. Here are my 5 Ways of Adaptability during the Bangkit program.
1. Ways of Interacting
Participating in the online Bangkit Academy program has required me to adapt to using tools like Discord and Google Meet for interactions. I have connected with students from various backgrounds, learning from their experiences. I also improved my English when communicating since the Bangkit program encouraged me to converse using English.
2. Ways of Achieving
Participating in the Bangkit program has give me insight about the importance of setting clear goals for both personal and professional growth. I have to adapt to meeting tight deadlines for the completion of all assignments by adjusting my time management by developing organized schedules that help meet daily and weekly goals, which helped me catch up with all these deadlines and helped me achieve every Bangkit milestone.
3. Ways of Learning
Bangkit provides various learning methods, including ILT sessions for the insights from the instructors and flexible study through platforms like Google Cloud Skill Boost and Dicoding. The program require me to adapt to a different mode of learning, from face to face interaction with lecturers to being more independent in learning. Therefore, I take the time to study and disciplined in studying course materials, lab practices, and quizzes.

4. Ways of Working
I focused on time management as I had to balance self learning courses with preparation for my capstone project. Therefore I plan in detail all the activities I have to do every day using Google Calendar to track study deadline and just to make sure I really prioritize the main activities and put productive work hours into them. This keeps me on point with milestones and allows me to make submissions at on time.
5. Ways of Thinking
Throughout the Bangkit program, I adopted a growth mindset to deal with challenges. This mindset taught me that any obstacles should be viewed as opportunities to create innovative solutions and failures as chances for self-improvement.
These five adaptations have shaped my experience in the Bangkit 2024 program into a transformational journey. I learned not only about acquiring technical skills but also about adapting to continuous change. I’m eager to carry these valuable lessons with me as I move forward in my career!
